Gofere was successfully represented at the just concluded 21st edition of FEASSSA Games, the annual multi-sport event of the Federation of East African Secondary Schools Sports Associations,.

The event, which took place in Bukedea, Uganda, saw participation from 3,013 school athletes representing 177 schools across 5 East African countries.

 Gofere, as the technical partner to the tournament organizers, the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA), supplied playing kits for athletes, officials, and match referees featured in 14 different sport disciplines, including Athletics, Badminton, Basketball 3×3, Basketball 5×5, Football, Handball, Hockey, Lawn Tennis, Netball, Rugby 7s, Rugby 15s, Swimming, Table Tennis, and Volleyball.

 Gofere is proud to have been a part of this well organized event and to have contributed to the development and promotion of school sports in the region.

 Gofere have been working closely with numerous Ugandan schools and USSSA in national tournaments, regional and continental games, and International School Federation games.

 Gofere’s co-founder and owner, Samuel Mekonen, was invited to the FEASSSA Symposium and had the opportunity to explain Gofere's commitment to school sports and beyond. He also had a one-to-one discussion with other FEASSA member school association leaders, where he shared Gofere’s vision and goals for the future of school sports in East Africa and beyond.
